Guided enquiry

An ordinary contact form has one big box, and out of it come messages like „I would need a quote“. A guided form asks one thing at a time and assembles the answers.

A demo, not a real enquiry

This form is here to try out. Nothing is sent, stored or forwarded, even if you fill in contact details.

Step 1 of 4

What do you need made?

This tells us whether it is routine work or needs an engineer.

What do you need made?

A live demo. Play with it, nothing is sent or stored.

Why it beats one big box

An empty box is an essay test. People do not know what to include, so they write too little, then you write back asking about quantity and dates and wait a day for the reply. Every exchange is a place the enquiry can die.

Steps turn that around: one question, one click. The visitor feels it moving, and you receive something structured. The enquiry no longer needs a qualifying phone call, it can be priced.

There is a side effect: it filters. Someone who will not go through three steps was usually browsing, not buying. That saves both sides time.

When it makes no sense

When you sell one clear thing at one price. There the guide is an obstacle between the customer and the button.

And when it runs past five steps. A guide that asks everything gets abandoned like a questionnaire. Ask what you cannot answer without, leave the rest to a call.
